Tonight: In the wake of a front currently moving through, much cooler/drier air will begin to filter in. A low in the mid 40s (inland) to around 50 is expected.
Tomorrow: Afternoon highs will run in the upper 50s.
Freeze: There will be a light freeze for areas mainly along/north of I-10 tomorrow night/Thursday morning. A light freeze is anticipated again Thursday night/Friday morning now, too.
Thursday – Friday: Below average temperatures are still expected. Highs will run in the mid 50s, with lows in the lower 30s (north of I-10) to upper 30s, followed by a slight rebound into the 40s Friday night/Saturday morning.
Cloud cover begins to increase Friday. Rain now looks to hold off until Saturday, as models have pushed back the arrival of an area of low pressure.
The Weekend: We are going to have an area of low pressure track near/over the area Saturday. Light to moderate showers will be likely into Sunday. However, showers look to move out for the second half of the day. Rain amounts should generally be 1/4th of an inch at most.
Temperatures will stay slightly below seasonal levels, with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s and lows in the 40s to about 50.
