Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is likely through Friday morning, with some embedded thunderstorms possible. We still anticipate rain amounts in the 1 – 3″ range.

There is a limited flood risk again. However, any flooding will likely be mostly nuisance-type flooding (ponding on roadways, minor flooding in low lying areas, etc…).

Drying Out for the Weekend: The front will move east of the area by Friday afternoon, bringing clearing skies and cooler/drier air in its wake.

A high in the 50s is expected Saturday, followed by 60s Sunday. Lows will be in the 40s both Saturday and Sunday morning. There will be plenty of sunshine for the duration of the weekend.

Early Next Week: Another front is progged to move through early during the early to middle half of next week, bringing rain back into the picture.
